Aretha Franklin gave a holiday benefit concert for members of the military Sunday night.
The Queen of Soul performed “New York, New York,” a medley of military tunes and her classic “Respect” at the Nokia Theatre after missing a Times Square award presentation hours earlier.

Lawsuit: Blige Stole Tunes, Including IPod Ad

Mary J. Blige has been sued in New York for $2 million by a company that says she stole some of the music she used on her latest hit album, including one used on an iPod commercial.
