Glad they arrested someone for Malcolm Shabazz’s death.

Police Find Two Suspects In Malcolm Shabazz’s Death

According to Raw Story

Authorities have arrested two people in connection with the beating death of the grandson of late US civil rights activist Malcolm X in Mexico City, an official said Monday.

Malcolm Shabazz, 29, was found laying on the ground in front of a bar on Thursday and died later in a hospital emergency room.

“Two people were detained,” an official from the Mexico City prosecutor’s office told AFP without providing more details, saying more information would be given at a press conference later Monday.

Mexican media reported that two male employees from The Palace club, ages 24 and 26, were detained and face theft and homicide charges.

Shabazz was apparentlty beaten during an argument over a steep bill at the club, located near the city’s Plaza Garibaldi, famous for its Mariachi bands and seedy dive bars.

Police are also looking for three other suspects in the case, Reforma newspaper said.

Shabazz had traveled to Mexico to meet with Miguel Suarez, a leader of the Rumec labor movement, and local media said the two had been at the bar together when the fatal beating took place.

Shabazz had a troubled youth, spending time in a juvenile detention center for starting the fire that led to the death of his grandmother Betty Shabazz, the widow of Malcolm X, in 1997. The civil rights leader was assassinated in 1965.

No one deserves to die the way he did. He was finally on the right path. What a shame.

This Wednesday's episode of "RapFix Live" will be a monster, with Game, Swizz Beatz and Saigon

On Sunday, Swizz premiered his brand-new video for "Everyday Birthday"featuring Chris Brown and Ludacris. In the clip, each star ends up in a peculiar predicament after a hard night of partying in Cannes, France. You can expect Swizzy to dish on the hilarious video as well as his other ventures in the fashion and art worlds.

Game will be stopping by as well to talk about his upcoming December 11 Jesus Piece album. Last week, the West Coast rap wiz told MTV News that for his next LP, he looks to follow a formula made famous by his mentor Dr. Dre. "The thing about the Jesus Piece is, it's kinda like a 2012 Chronic album, if you will," Game said, referring to the large number of guests he plans to showcase on the LP. "I'm on it, and I'm on it a hell of a lot, but I got a lot of features."

That's not all: In the lead-up to his album release, the Documentary spitter has been dropping free music every week as a part of his Sunday Service series. His most recent track, "Holy Water," was released Sunday and finds Game cautioning listeners against putting their faith in material objects. "Sleep outside for days, for a pair of J's/ Then you sleep outside forever 'cause you got sprayed," he raps, drawing attention to the violence that erupts when kids camp out for Air Jordans and other expensive kicks.

Saigon is no stranger to street violence either, but rather than glorify it, he has spent the better part of his career trying to reach troubled youth. On Tuesday, he will be dropping his second LP, The Greatest Story Never Told Chapter 2: Bread and Circuses. On Monday (November 5), Giddy dropped the music video for his new single "Blown Away." The politically charged clip, directed by Nicolas Heller, eulogizes fallen figures like Martin Luther King Jr., Tupac Shakur and Huey P. Newton, adding to theories that they were murdered under dubious circumstances.

With a gang of guests and the latest hip-hop news, this week's "RapFix Live" is one you won't want to miss.

Catch Game, Swizz Beatz and Saigon on Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET/ 1 p.m. PT on "RapFix Live," on RapFix.MTV.com, and be sure to join the Twitter conversation using the hashtag #RapFixLive. Send your questions for the artists @MTVRapFix!

Jerry Sandusky

Are you fawking serious???

Fed Investigate New Claims That Jerry Sandusky Shared Boys With Others At Penn State

New explosive child sexual abuse charges against Jerry Sandusky and Penn State are being investigated by federal law enforcement officials, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.

Both the FBI and a criminal investigative division of the United States Postal Service are looking into the possible existence of a pedophile ring that involved Sandusky sharing boys with other men connected to Penn State. Sandusky was recently convicted on 45 counts of child sexual abuse.

“Investigators have interviewed at least one man who claims to have knowledge of Sandusky and a very prominent man, with strong ties to Penn State, both sexually abusing a boy,” a source familiar with the situation told RadarOnline.com.

Criminal investigators from the United States Postal Inspectors are involved because sexual material involving underage boys may have been transmitted through the mail. The source says that the postal service seems to be leading this investigation, although Radar has not confirmed that information.

“The investigation is in its early stages,” the source added. “They have not yet cast a wide net but it is ongoing and it is serious.”

Sandusky, 68, was the defensive coordinator for Penn State and was accused of sexually abusing 10 boys during 15 years. Many of the victims were from the Second Mile charity, which Sandusky founded to help troubled youth.

“The new investigation is also looking at if boys from the Second Mile charity were shared by Sandusky with other men,” the source told RadarOnline.com. “The name of at least one very rich and powerful man connected to the university has come up in this new investigation.”

We hope they catch any and all muhfuggas that had anything to do with this sick bastard.

Ninja please!!

Maybe Jerry Sandusky’s lawyers should stop talking to the press for a while.

Karl Rominger, a Carlisle, Pa., lawyer who recently joined the accused child molester’s defense team, says Sandusky may have showered with boys to teach them “basic hygiene skills.”

“Some of these kids don’t have basic hygiene skills,” Rominger told WHTM-TV on Tuesday. “Teaching a person to shower at the age of 12 or 14 sounds strange to some people, but people who work with troubled youth will tell you there are a lot of juvenile delinquents and people who are dependent who have to be taught basic life skills like how to put soap on their body.”

Sandusky, Penn State football coach Joe Paterno’s longtime defensive coordinator, has been charged with 52 counts of sexual abuse. He is accused of molesting 10 boys he met through The Second Mile, a charity he founded for underprivileged kids. A grand jury report released last month says Mike McQueary, now Penn State’s receivers coach, saw Sandusky rape a boy in a campus shower. In interviews with NBC’s Bob Costas and The New York Times Sandusky admitted showering and engaging in horseplay with boys in Penn State locker rooms, but said nothing sexual had occurred.

You pay this guy to help defend you and THIS is the best he got?!?! Mr. Sandusky, you’re goin’ to jail…

Damn, Sams!!!

The guy who starred as troubled youth Thomas Sams in the 1989 classic “Lean On Me” was arrested in Arizona for allegedly buying 200 pounds of pot from an undercover cop this week.

Jermaine “Huggy” Hopkins has been charged with two felony counts of possessing, transporting and trying to sell marijuana.

According to police, the 38-year-old actor lives in North Carolina … but traveled to AZ to make the drug deal on Tuesday.

Cops in Maricopa County say they set up the sting operation … and after Hopkins took possession of the dope, they pulled over his SUV and arrested him. Cops say they found $100k in cash in the ride.

Officials later searched Hopkins’ Arizona apartment and claim they found an additional 100 pounds of weed.

Police say Hopkins told them he got involved in the drug deal to provide a nice Christmas for his family.

Hopkins is being held on $35,000 bond. If convicted, he faces up to 5 years in prison.

Damn, Steel!

To say that rapper Earl “DMX” Simmons has had a troubled past, would be quite an understatement. The Yonkers, New York native has admitted several times in past interviews that his adolescence was spent in and out of jail--a trend that has followed the gruff-voiced rapper well into his adulthood. Battling with drug addiction and the law has become the hallmark of Simmons’ career, and yesterday X joined mild-mannered TV personality and addiction specialist Dr. Drew on his daytime program Lifechangers, to discuss his legal issues and personal woes. X even took the time to mentor a youth heading down a similarly violent path.

DMX walked out to raucous cheers from the studio audience, looking fit and trim for his 40 years of age, soaking in the adoration from the crowd. DMX pensively answered Dr. Drew’s questions about his past but he didn’t flinch under the glare of the hot lights. X addressed the host’s question about being done with his former criminal ways. “I’d like to be done with the legal system,” said a serious DMX. “One thing that people don’t really understand is that as celebrity you rarely get fair treatment. You either get love or hate. It’s never really fair.”

X also revealed that he and another inmate escaped from an upstate New York prison in 1988 during a wicked winter spell. He told Dr. Drew that he survived the bitter cold after being inspired by the Oscar-nominated 1985 thriller Runaway Train featuring actor Jon Voight. DMX also admitted that he couldn’t recall the number of arrests on his record, saying that his charges could stretch across the entire half of a courtroom. (video via WSHH)

In a touching moment, DMX and his producer Caviar helped to guide a troubled youth by the name of Ra’Von away from a similar criminal path, offering him an internship and studio time with DMX, with his tearful and appreciative mother looking on. Ra’Von, overcome with emotion himself, took on the challenge presented by DMX.

During his appearance on also performed his new Hip Hop Gospel single “Keep Your Head Up” for the studio audience.

Rapping Judge Makes Teens Recite Poetry for Community Service

In Florida, a judge's thoughtful approach is throwing a creative curve ball to troubled youth: When minors end up in her courtroom and have to pay back society with community service, Judge Merrilee Ehrlich makes kids do their time by writing poetry. "I don't want them doing mindless things, picking up litter in a park or cleaning cop cars. I wanted community service work related to their charges that would teach them how to be creative, how to provoke thought," says Judge Ehrlich.

The good judge reiterates her credo with placards that read:

"In life there are no make-up exams. Choose carefully."

And

"The more you learn today, the more you'll earn tomorrow."

She also has a library that the kids have access to.

Even though 14-year-old Bradley Pierre wasn't familiar with poetry, he liked his sentence:

"I never read poems. I never understood poems. This is new for me. It's kind of something that I like ... it's a lesson you learn from, something positive."

I have to say that I heart Judge Ehrlich. Time and time again, these types of stories show that the best solutions and problem solving techniques often involve creativity and compassion. It is so easy to throw the book at these children, but instead, forcing these kids to express themselves in a positive way gives these kids another lens on their capabilities and hopefully another lens on life.

As for Judge Ehrlich, while having kids read poetry was great, the show isn't over: Before taking a celebratory bow, she, too, takes center stage, donning a black hoodie and a rude swagger. Judge Ehrlich then closes out the display by actually rapping about the need to make good choices.

Watch out, Lil' Wayne!

Watch her great work here:
