Report: ‘Booty Call’ Text Ignited Fight Between Brown & Rihanna
A ‘booty call’ text message from another woman started the confrontation between R&B singer Chris Brown and girlfriend Rihanna, who was left bloodied and bruised, it was reported today.
Brown received a text message from an unidentified woman while he was driving with Rihanna, asking to hook up later, celebrity website TMZ reported.
The New York Daily News also said Brown received the racy text message.
“He got a booty call. He got a text. Rihanna saw it and she got upset. They started to argue. She got out of the car. He wanted her to get back in, so he grabbed her,” the industry source said. “She pulled away. That’s when she’s told people he hit her,” the newspaper said, citing an unnamed source.
Brown, who has training in Tae Kwon Do, is accused of hitting Rihanna so hard with his fists that she suffered a split lip, bloody nose and serious swelling and bruising on her face, TMZ reported.
She also had bite marks on one of her arms and on several fingers, the Web site reported, adding that police described her injuries as “horrific.”
