Ice Cube: Set To Produce Police Comedy Series

ice cube 450ms061108 Ice Cube: Set To Produce Police Comedy Series

Despite releasing anti-police songs earlier in his career, actor-rapper Ice Cube is set to make his mark on network television behind the boys in blue.

Cube (born O’Shea Jackson) has signed on to write and executive produce an as-yet-untitled police comedy for the NBC network. Which will be produced via Universal Media Studios and Cube’s own production company, Cube Vision.

According to NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios chairman Ben Silverman, the N.W.A. founder is the perfect candidate for the network’s continued growth.
