Ciara, T.I. Top Screamfest Bill
Grammy-winning artists Ciara (music) and T.I. (music) have been tapped to headline the sixth installment of the Scream Tour (music), which is scheduled to hit 24 North American cities this summer.
The itinerary has yet to be announced, but organizers have said the R&B/rap outing, dubbed Screamfest ‘07, will kick off in late July and hit major markets including Chicago, New York, Atlanta, Miami, Detroit, Baltimore and Washington, DC. Details will be revealed in the coming weeks, according to a press release.
Support acts will also be announced shortly and special guest performers will be included in select cities along the way, organizers said.
R&B singer/songwriter/actress Ciara continues to work behind her platinum-selling sophomore album, “Ciara: The Evolution,” which snagged the No. 1 spot on The Billboard 200 when it debuted in December.
Rapper/actor/music mogul T.I. is gearing up for the release of his fifth studio album, “T.I. vs T.I.P,” which is due July 3. The record’s first single, “Big Things Poppin’ (Do It),” is currently heating up the charts. T.I.’s most recent set, “King,” debuted at the top of The Billboard 200 when it was released last spring. The single “What You Know” earned a Grammy for Best Rap Solo Performance.

The Scream Tour caters to young music fans. Previous headliners have included Omarion, Ne-Yo, Chris Brown and Bow Wow.
