CrazySexyCool – that’s the way TLC described themselves and it was probably their best album.
If you were a fan of TLC in the 90′s, it was hard to watch the movie and not be distracted by how some of the cast didn’t look like the original TLC members. Lil Mama was close enough and Keke Palmer resembled Chili but Drew was way too fat to play T-Boz. All of the original TLC members were thin and toned, like dancers. Drew’s hair and weight didn’t fit the part.
Was she supposed to look like her twin? Yes and no. It’s an acting part. How hard is it to lose weight and get a better hair and makeup artist? It’s hard enough trying to imagine TLC experiencing those events, no need to be distracted with other things.
U.S.A.-based women’s wear and accessories fashion brand House of Versatile Styles gave back to the community with a runway fashion show hosted by Claudia Jordan of VH1′s “Tiny Tonight” talk show and NBC’s “All-Star Celebrity Apprentice.” The benefit helped raise money for Kids Clean Club Nigeria and Face Africa, which help to promote educational programs devoted to instill quality education and mentorship through scholarships. The partnership between the program and House of Versatile Styles has helped to donate uniforms and school supplies for underprivileged schoolchildren in Nigeria.
“HVS believes that it is essential to do everything within our power to change and improve the lives of the children around us. We want to make sure that our children are not stopped from going to school because they do not have uniforms or supplies. HVS is honored and privileged to be able to organize a platform to introduce ‘Kids Clean Club Nigeria’ to the international forefront,” said Bukola Are, HVS creative director and designer.
The fashion show and mixer were held at the Renaissance Hotel at Greenway Plaza in Houston and featured live music, silent auction and the debut of the VHS fall fashion collection and exclusive fabrics.

While everyone was focused on Blue Ivy’s every move (and mean mug), 2-year-old Cali Dream was patiently waiting for her moment to shine, and did, during the premiere of The Game’s feel-good reality show “Marrying The Game.” So adorable, lovable and sweet, it’s clear that she’ll soon be everyone’s favorite celebrity kid not named Major Harris.
Here’s a photo gallery of The Game’s precious preciousness being adorable. Take a look.

Other notable recipients of the “Do Something Award” were Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Kelly Osbourne, Sophia Bush and Patrick Dempsey for their charity work. Take a look at the stars who came out to honor celebrities like Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Osbourne here. – ruthie hawkins
Reigndrop Lopes, the late Lisa “Left-Eye” Lopes’ sister, sat down for an exclusive interview with rollingout to share her opinions on the creation of VH1′s TLC biopic. Though the network did contact the family to use Left-Eye‘s likeness, but being that the other members seem to be involved in the project, isn’t it only right for the late star’s family to be as well? Who would know Lisa better than her own family? Though a trailer for the movie has been released to the public, it is very noticeable that the script is still on the worktable. Perhaps it’s not too late for the family to add their expertise. Watch as Lopes also shares what her family is doing to keep the legacy of Left-Eye alive.
