We receive alot of the same questions so decided to post the most helpful information we could provide.

Where can I see the currently playing song?
All streams display the currently playing song and the three most recently played tracks. Depending on the station you're listening to, the song lists can be found on the corresponding Radio Pages or view the currently playing song all four stations at once.
Urban Music 2000 Radio: R&B
Urban Music 2000 Radio: Slo
Urban Music 2000 Radio: Gospo
Urban Music 2000 Radio: Fuse

What genres are featured on the radio stations?
Urban Music 2000 Radio: R&B plays soul, funk, disco, blues, neo-soul, and pop.
Urban Music 2000 Radio: Slo plays soul and pop ballads from the 60s through the 80s.
Urban Music 2000 Radio: Fuse plays hip hop/R&B collaborations, old school hip hop, crunk, bass, snap, dancehall, and dance music.
Urban Music 2000 Radio: Gospo plays traditional hymns, contemporary gospel, and inspirational R&B.

This morning @ 930am you played a song that I just love but donot know the name of the artist or song. Can you please help me? I listen everyday and absolutely love this station.
Firstly, the station that this refers to wasn't mentioned, but this goes back to the previous question. If you don't happen to be listening with Windows Media Player which displayd the Radio Page in the listening pane complete with song titles, then log onto the site and browse to the Radio Page. We suggest lsitening with Windows Media Player for this reason. The Radio Pages were designed specifically to display the song titles for each station. Each Station has a different page unique for its playlist.

I listen to urban music gospel all of the time and there are a lot of songs that i've been looking for to get the cd's but dont know the names or artist. Is there anywhere on the site to see the names of the songs and artist?
See above response. Each stream has its own page which displays the current track plus the three most recently played tracks. There's an Amazon Search Box next to the currently playing track so you can type in the artist and song as it is playing. We used to make it easier by displaying the album cover art, artist, title, song, label etc. If you'r a programmer and know how to code this script, shoot us an email.

How can I find out the name of the Artist who songs that you all play, there are several gospel songs that I like, but I am not able to locate the artist name
See previous response.

Recently I have been getting a pop up, asking for username and password. I was wondering if I need a username and password. Also is there a fee for the website.
There are no fees to access the site. All streams are free and available anytime. Nothing on the site requires a username and/or password.

I have recently started listening to your gospel station and I love the musical selections. Your music director has made some excellent choices.
I have one complaint about your station and that is that you don't show a listing of the current song playing or the artist. I have found often times that I fully enjoyed a selection but can't recognize the artist and checking your sight is of little/no help. A listing of what song is currently playing would be wonderful.....

If you don't connect from the site or use Windows Media Player, you won't see the track listings. We suggest you connect using our urls and using Windows Media Player specifically because the pages were designed to display track listings for each unique station in the listening pane of Windows Media Player. The track listing are live in real-time and update automatically. If you choose to listen with iTunes, WinAmp, etc then you could always open a browser and display the website there. It's the exact same thing.

Do I have to subscribe or make a donation to listne to music on your urban2000.com site? I keep getting "access denied" when I click on "listen". What am I doing wrong?
Our radio is free to our listeners. Chances are when you are trying to log on, our listening slots are full. We recommend logging on earlier, later, or on the weekends when our stations are not as full. We do our best to add more listner slots as the stations require them. There are just so many people who love us and are anxious to enjoy what we have to offer that we sometimes can't keep up with the demand.

I'm trying to play as a regular radio station from my media ply and as it plays, it continues to skip, what is happening to it....
It could be a number of things. First off, if you're using dial-up, you may experience buffering and skipping because the connection is very slow. You may also experience this if you have a number of programs running while trying to stream music. We suggest listening on a dsl connection or higher, if you're able to, on a computer with at least 256 mb ram.

Just want to let you know that I enjoy your streaming broadcasts. I'd also like to ask if you could send me a playlist for 10/15/06. I work nights and I was listening to you between midnight and 7 a.m. At approx 3:45 a.m., you played a song that I've been looking for quite a while. If I had your playlist, I could find out who the artist is.
Once the songs are played, we don't keep logs. The music is streamed live and we don't record archives. But, we do keep records of the artists and songs played on the site. Each song/artists is categorized by genre and year. If you know which station you were listening to, it makes it that much easier to locate the playlists.

I am having a great deal of static and break up of the music...is there any other forms of listening to your radio station, other that the internet?
We are proud to announce the availability of our stations on mobile phones.
