new google ads - Urban Music 2000 Forums

I think the new google ads are pretty distracting from the content of the forums. I understand the need for ads, but don't think that they should be so intrusive so as to take up space inside the first post of a thread. Is there a specific reason for this, or could they be moved back to the top, like the adverts in a particular subforum.

I didn't find it annoying until I was just hit by a barrage of scantily-clad women on 2 or 3 consecutive pages. Now I find myself checking the ads every time I load the next page.

Those are the ads to the left. Adam was talking about the ad block in the top right corner on the first post of every thread. (It should be coming down...not sure when).

I knew which ones he was talking about, I was just saying about the ads as a whole. The one in the first post kind of scrunches the text.

I really do not find the ads annoying. I have seen worst on other sites, but I think they do place the ads for business purposes.

We removed the ads in question. They were inside the first forum post. They never bothered me, but I am not the only one who visits the forums.
