Grammy-winning singer Usher and his wife, Tameka, have ushered a baby boy into the world.

The couple's first child debuted at 7 pounds, 9 ounces in an Atlanta hospital at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. If Daddy has his way, he'll be the fifth male in the family to bear the name Usher.

"I just want to pass it on," the proud pop, Usher Raymond 4th, said on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in August when he revealed the baby was a boy. "Maybe I'll change the middle name."

Usher, 29, and Tameka Foster, 36, were married in a private ceremony in their lawyer's office Aug.3. They were scheduled to swap vows in a swanky ceremony in July at the Long Island home of Def Jam honcho L.A. Reid, but the wedding was called off at the last minute because of a "pregnancy scare," Foster later said.

But sources told the Daily News the real reason was that Usher had been feuding with his mom, Jonetta Patton, and didn't want to go through with the nuptials without her there.
