Default Help with Windows Movie Maker!!?

I'm trying to make a video (obviously) and some of the scenes were just black when I went to publish it to the computer. And when I say some, I mean like half of them. I'm really mad right now because I spent so much time on this.... Please help me!
ALL of the clips have the same format though >> .avi

What file format are the clips saved in? It could be that you do not have the right codecs to allow you to play certain file formats. You should look into installing a codec pack- klite codec pack is a good one and can be found on download.com
