Does anyone besides me think that it is not right for any judge to give a verdict before the case is heard completely? Why is it OK for Simon Cowell to go around and tell everyone that he thinks Adam will be the winner. For example on Ellen DeGeneres show he says that he thinks Adam will win. It seems to me he really likes him to win for some reasons that are unknown to me.
In her performance on American Idol today Katy Perry wears an outfit with the name Adam Lambert on it. Is this really fair? Imagine you were one of the competitors. How would you feel.
Please note that we are not discussing here who is good or not good. I am just questioning the fairness of it all. Please remember Simon is a judge and his opinion counts more than yours and mine. Much more. Katy Perry wearing that outfit on American idol does not even compare to anyone else on street expressing his/her opinion. That is why there are so many celebrities getting paid so much money to appear in a TV ad to promote a commodity

I agree. It's biased. Maybe, Simon really likes Adam to win. Adam anyway is a good singer but after all those leaked photos, does he still have the highest chance of winning?

Until this season I have never seen a judge or another performer promote an idol contestant. Adam is in a league of his own and people recognize that.

Adam is by far the most talented contestant to have ever been on American Idol. Not too many people get compared to master vocalists like Robert Plant, Freddie Mercury, or Steven Tyler. Adam has proven he can take on all of their songs, while Danny, Kris and others have struggled in previous weeks when they had to sing material outside their comfort zones.

Now don't get me wrong Danny, Kris, Allison...are all EXTREMELY talented and will definitely go far, but their is not a whole lot that is original or unique about them.

Everyone has a different taste in music, but the people who do not at least appreciate Adam's talent have no musical ear whatsoever.

Because Adam is SO good even Simon can't resist praising him! And by the way, he's a judge. Judges are supposed to JUDGE, not be NEUTRAL. They're there to find the best. And what's wrong with them saying their opinions when they feel they have found the BEST!?

Maybe because this is america, and he is free to simply express his opinion.
And same thing with katy perry.she wore a cape with adam's name on it.
There is nothing wrong with that, she's just making a statement that she obviously wants adam to win, as well as i do.
And i jumped out of my seat, when i heard simon say he thinks adam will win, and when i saw katy perry's magnificent cape!
If i were one of the contestant, yea i'd feel like ****, but hey she's only human, and she has the right to do it.
What? Just because nobody else wants to wear a cape with kris's name on it, nobody should wear a cape with adam's name on it?
Thats not right now is it?
Plus, it not like SIMON or KATY will be choosing the winner.
Its up to american..you never know what is going to happen.

Simon like us has his ones he thinks will win. No more no less. Everyone has the right to there opinion. Adam is definately marketable and is very popular with every one.
When I saw Kate Perry wearing the name of Adam on the back of her cape I was somewhat shocked. I thought one of the other girls on stage would have the name of the other idols on there backs as well. I did not think that was appropriate though, since the others were not included.

They all give Adam way too much praise for some unknown reason, Looks like people who can squeal and scream really do have a chance in the music industry!

I liked Katy Perry up until tonight, I think that it was really rude to Danny and Kris both for her to come out with Adam Lambert on her cape.

Personally I feel that it is the Judges decision in the end on who to crown AI, and not the fans!

I really love Adam, and would love him to win, but I do think it is a bit unfair that the judges have pretty much catered to him this whole season. They are the judges and that is what they are there for, but I think they can give their opinion without ALWAYS declaring him the winner. With that said, I hope he wins.

I think that if asked, he should give an opinion, but not brag about that person.

For instance:
"Who do you think is the favorite to win Simon?"

"Well, right now I'm a big fan or Adam's, but there is tons of talent on this season so keep on watching and voting for you favorites."

or something like that. Expressing your opinion, but keeping it semi-neutral.

I agree completely. And this has been going on for awhile now. Even throughout the competition when the judges' would say something like, "You're going straight to the finale". That whole thing with Katy Perry's outfit pissed me off.
I know people are going to think I'm crazy but hear me out for a minute. Does anyone else think the judges' sabotaged the contest so Adam could win? They have all openly discussed how they think he's a winner this whole season. Then when it came to judges' choice last night, Danny got the worst song possible while Simon personally calls Bono to ask for the rights to that song and Kara and Randy pick "Apologize" for Kris knowing that if he made it to the finale over Danny, Adam would stand a better shot at winning. Think about it. I smell a conspiracy.

That's exactly what I thought too. I was like umm? What about Kris??? It's bull. Simon has been campaigning for him since day one and it's not fair to the other contestants. I personally think that Adam should NOT win because he needs to be on a label that will give him creative control over his music which the Idol label will not. If anyone who actually likes adam cares about his upcoming career they will stop voting for him.
