|  is vh1 now the new mtv? not talking about the premium mtv channels like mtv jamz and mtv hits. talking about regular mtv vh1 plays alot of music videos and has blocks of themed music, countdowns, and oldschool music videos. they seem to be showing as much music like old mtv used to do. now regular mtv doesnt show music at all anymore. should "music" television be the one showing music? what do you think? | yes, but vh1 is dominated by reality shows as well. in fact, the reality on vh1 is more terrible than the reality tv on mtv. so to add insult to injury, vh1's replaced music with crappy reality shows. FUSE is a good channel for music all day, if you get the channel. Powered by Yahoo Answers |

| No, the new MTV is a thing called the internet, where you can get any music you could think of instantaneously, and not have to watch TV and commercials and whatnot, which is why MTV and VH1 keep making crappy reality shows and whatnot. Powered by Yahoo Answers |

| well i watch vh1 in the morning because i love that music! mtv shows music between shows though and they always keep one artist for a week or so. i think vh1 is more of a music channel but mtv will always stand because its been around longer. Powered by Yahoo Answers |
