| I have seen this question a million times. They do reshoot the scenes,where they have reenact the same event, either because they did not catch the event on camera or because the shot was not good.. The cast members are paid-even Audrina said she was recruited to be Heidi's friend. She also said on Regis and Kelley (talk show) that the producers really wanted Lauren and Heidi to make up. The drama is real. I don't think they read scripts. Occasionally, the producers will secretly throw something to manipulate the situation like making Heidi run into Lauren. Lauren talks about in this interview. Maybe it will help you get an idea of how it is filmed. To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 15 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. Like any other reality show, they have to let the crew know where they are going or what is going on in their lives to film them. They don't have cameras everywhere and a production team behind the wall like in the Real World. So they can't add tasks or throw things in the house (hot tub, alcohol, sex book) to encourage drama. The crew strives to catch moments for television but sometimes, it doesn't always work out well.
