| January 19, 2009? Is that her target date to lose a certain amount of weight? Let me guess, she wants to be slimmer for Obama inaguration? She's not going to drop a whole lot of weight in a month. That's unrealistic. Unless she starves herself. And let's face it, we have Christmas coming up and New Years. If she's going to start her diet she should start after January. It's not like she's HUGE. She carries herself well. She should just buy a bigger dress for the inaguration and thne she'll have the entire year to get back in shape. If she's going to lose weight she should do it for herself. Not because she wants to look great standing next to Obama. If you ask me that's a very shallow reason to want to lose weight. | I don't think Oprah's wanting to lose weight has anything to do with Obama. She knows she fell off the wagon and plans to start the new year eating healthy and working out. | Have you seen her lately? There is no way she could be slim in one month. Size means different things to each of us. Maybe that is the problem, she is trying to please other people and not herself - that could be why she keeps losing then gaining it back. If she wants to lose it more power to her, if she doesn't she is a great lady and people should not put pressure on her to lose it. She has a lot to deal with.
