I went to a Metallica Concert for my b-day. Two days later my dad says I have to delete all of my Metallica songs. He says there satanic and they worship the devil. Can anyone give me proof that they're not? Powered by Yahoo Answers

Negative, Metallic is NOT a satanic band. -Havok Always trust wiki. Your dad might just be wanting to rule your life and if you let him he will get away with it and will try with some other aspect of your life as you grow. My Friend likes them has been to concerts and you would never think he was a fan. Good luck dude. Powered by Yahoo Answers

just like how people say Marilyn Manson is evil music, which isn't true. if you won't believe in god you don't need to delete your music. Powered by Yahoo Answers

Only if you want them to be Satanic. Mind over matter at all times. If it's in you're heart to breed ugliness, then so be the Satanic influence. If your heart feels the need & openess that music has to give, Satan has no part. Powered by Yahoo Answers

That's a tough one... Although the band members, personally, do not subscribe to any religious affiliation, I guess with album names like, "Kill 'Em All" (which was a label choice and not a band choice) and "Death Magnetic" your father can be, unfortunately, misguided. You should have him watch the documentary, "Some Kind of Monster"...it's all about the bandmates going through therapy... Although alcohol was rampant during a lot of their "younger years" most of these guys are now devoted fathers and family men... I dare your dad to try and prove that there is any material in any of the lyrics that actually support the practice of worshipping the devil. Powered by Yahoo Answers

| nooo try looking up some of there lyrics and prove to your dadthat there not satanic. satanic metal is like dimmu borgir and gorgoroth and stuff like that. not a big fan of metallica but theres nothing satanic about them. metallicas lyrics are pretty much about the trials of life and stuff not satan. hope that helps.
