Simon Cowell: Stage Fright Rumour Not True

(31-5-2008) This week, the British tabloid The Sun published an article claiming that Michael Jackson canceled a performance on 'American Idol' just 24 hours before the show due to stage fright. The story was repeated by media organizations worldwide.

On Friday, 'American Idol' judge Simon Cowell appeared on the BBC2 radio show 'Steve Wright In The Afternoon'. Asked about the rumour he said that those rumours are not true:

"Not true, not true. We hear those rumours all the time."

Cowell also stated that they would be happy to have Michael Jackson on the show some time.

This report is ridiculously false. This is news from Simon Cowell himself:

"Simon Cowell of American Idol fame flatly denied the recent tabloid reports that Michael Jackson had pulled out of performing on American Idol this year due to "stage fright."

According to Simon Cowell himself, these rumors are "not true" and there were never any plans for Michael Jackson to appear on America Idol this year."

I wonder why ... I always wanted him to hear him sing !!!
Maybe because of the media, cuz whenever MJ makes an appearance like calling him "Wacko Jacko" or when he went Christian Audigier's 50th Birthday and he wear that blue shirt and the media start calling it inappropriate, i was like "seriously? he look good in it? forget the shirt, the king is back!"

*sighs* ... I wish he would make a comeback, or an appearance in a tv or reality show, or even another movie! Just sing for us MJ !! Many many many people still love you !

Honestly, who'd believe that MJ "lost his chance" by not appearing on some goddamn reality show?

It's total bunk, a show by MJ is an honor to anyone. If there's anyone on the planet who doesn't need American Idol to be to become an American Idol, it's Michael Jackson!

He's proven himself tenfold.

It's ridiculous. It's crap how bad press is trying to portray him as some hasbeen in need of pity, when anyone in their right mind would be kissing his *** if he considered giving them his presence, let alone a show.

He's royalty now, he shouldn't feel pressured to do do anything, it'd just be nice if he got more of the respect he deserves.
