And if you have pictures I'd love you forever. This is for a school project. I already have pictures of pop culture music from Ireland (Flogging Molly, The Script), now I just need folk music from Ireland. Since I'm looking for stuff that was so long ago, there's not many pictures. So I decided to just get pictures of the instruments they used in order to create the music. But, I don't know all the instruments that they used to play, and that's where you come in. :) Thanks. Powered by Yahoo Answers

Have you ever heard of a bodhran? I think that's spelled right, lol. It looks like a big tambourine but it's supposed to be a drum. I read about it in a book. A harp, too, is a lot of times associated with Ireland. Hope this helps. Powered by Yahoo Answers

I know a very good trad band in Ireland. They use a variety of instruments: violin, guitar, bodhran, harmonica, accordion, whistle and bones, bass guitar, banjo, mandolin and probably more! Look them up they're called the Kilkenny's. Or a more famous irish traditional band you could look at are The Wolfe Tones, one of the best ever to grace the country. For a more modern irish music you could also use solo artist Damien Rice or Dublin band Aslan Happy project searching :) Powered by Yahoo Answers
