| Right now, we only have an AM/FM radio in our car. We want a stereo that we can plug our MP3 player into. We do not need a CD player but would like to have access to a radio in the car. Are there car stereos out there like this or do they all come with a CD player as well. What are some good car stereo brands? We would prefer something that isn't too expensive. How much would a typical installation price be? Powered by Yahoo Answers |

| do you have a tape deck in the radio you have now? if you do there is a simple and cheap soloution. they make a tape that you stick into your deck and plug into your mp3 player via the headphone plug. i got one at autozone for ten bucks. only problem is that i dont know what there called. if you dont have a tape deck try walmart.com they have a simple process that shows you which stero will work for your car. ive been there and they have aux in ports. which is what yuo want for the mp3 player. hope that helps Powered by Yahoo Answers |

| Unfortunately they don't make many stereos without CD players in them anymore, but you can get them with inputs for components. Check out this one To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 15 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. It should be a nice head unit nd it has a front input for your MP3 player. Make sure you get the headphone jack to headphone jack adapter they also seel on that website so you can hook up your MP3. As for installation prices. Find a Best Buy or similar store and they will have decent installation prices for you. If you are in the area of the northwest suburbs of Chicago I would be glad to install it, but otherwise have fun listening. Powered by Yahoo Answers |

| Pioneer Stereos are the best for this. They feature Ipod connectors that actually allow you to control the ipod from the stereo, and see tracks and names and such. They also have a front and back Aux input thats the same plug as your headphone jack basically. easy to install, i put mine in 1 hour yesterday. I have the 3000 series Pioneer unit.
