how come my window media player downloads all the songs in my library when my mp3 is plugged in? - Urban Music 2000 Forums

I opened my Windows Media Player to sync 6 songs to my mp3. Well you know what happened? All 86 downloads! I had to erase all the repeats the entire night. So I tried downloading the 6 songs again. Big mistake. It downloads all the songs again. So how do I stop it? Please help me! Whatever works will get the best answer! 10 points! Thanks :D

try this ,with your mp3 plugged in right click on the 'Sync' tab.

then find your mp3 player on the drop down menu with the little arrow next to it.

move your mouse over it so the side menu will open

in the side menu click on 'Set Up Sync...'

in the window that opens, look for 'Sync this device automatically ' and uncheck it if its selected.
