|  Why can't I stream media? audio or video? For example ESPN radio or mlb.tv. I can stream at work, but not on my home PC. Something appears to be blocking it. My home network is wireless WAN using a netgear WGR614 v6 wireless router. I checked my firewall (Trend Micro INT security) but can't find anything that addresses streaming media. When I attempt to connect the status thing appears to load properly for a few seconds, i.e opening media, connecting, then it abruptly stops and stays in ready status. I'm live streaming. Espn radio uses windows media player and flash. you have both as an option. mlb.tv uses microsoft silverlight i logged into router, but I can't find where to enable "e" or a WMM checkbox. Can you clue me in or where I may need to go? Thank you another note: I can't listen to Espn chicago radio(either flahs or windows media player), but I can listen to espn radio national(flash only) Also do you think the ports have anything to do with this problem? | Make sure wireless "e" standard is enabled and WMM checkbox is checked. For audio and video stream "e" standard and WMM standards are required. That option is there in NetGear WGR614 wireless router. Powered by Yahoo Answers |
