| If Jay-z had been from Idaho we'd never would've heard of him, his image had alot to do with why ppl paid attention more so than his lyrics early on. Dude is nice but without the nyc connection he would've never had the launching pad. Cube on the other hand is a bit too educated for his own good, tho he is a gangsta era emcee the dude has a college degree and wrote his style of music in a reflection of where he's from more so than trying to pose as that. Cube could've been any style of emcee he wanted, same can't be said for jay-z in terms of that educated versatility. Powered by Yahoo Answers |
