|  How is Tupac better than Jay Z? Please explain this to me, there are actually people who say that Tupac is a better rapper than Jay Z? LOL, hahahaha, ROFL, is this a joke? Tupac is good but.... Jay Z is just better. Tupac is more popular than Jay Z, Yes, this is true, only because he spoke his mind loudly and also popular cause he was killed...., but in music Jay Z easily wins. | I think 2pac is a more influential rapper and more skilled, but they're both really good. 2pac fans are just saying that because thats how they are. they still talk sh*t to biggie and biggie's fans as if 2pac was their boy or something. Powered by Yahoo Answers |

| i think your wrong, itsreally about taste i like both of them equally but i think in some ways tupac is better. like you said he spoke his mind loudly and express it in his lyrics differently than jay z did, he is not ppopular because he got killed because theres alot of mc's that got kill also like notorious big and that has nothing to do with it. jay z is like the more newer version of tupac, they have a lot in common. | In my opinion it is because Tupac always said what was on his mind, was real, his songs were like a true story and were emotional. His songs were deep unlike Jay-Z's. I was a Jay-z fan but I lost respect for that camel after he made fun of/dissed the fact that Pac died but he (jayz) was still alive. That **** was low. And to me his voice is too monotone, his songs have better beats than lyrics. He made dissed Tupac on a Biggie song when he had nothing to do with the situation, so I don't even like him as a person. tbh nobody I know likes Jay-z. Powered by Yahoo Answers |

| 2pac isn't as versatile as Jay-Z. 2pac has so much skill, but he's kind of a one trick pony. I also hate 2pac's overly mushy songs like Dear Mama. It's just not what I want to hear in a rap song lol. I really do prefer Eastern Hip Hop. You can't go wrong with Jigga, Biggie, Nas, & Wu-Tang. Powered by Yahoo Answers |

| I've been a big hip hop fan for the past 15 years, and although Reasonable Doubt was definitely a classic, the only way you can say Jay-Z is better than 2pac is because of his longevity and cconsistency Besides that, 2pac is one of the greatest rappers of all time because he chose to wake people up instead of instill materialism and envy into his listeners. | Tupac had lyrics that were meaningful and had crazy range (can rap about almost anything and sound legit). He had one of the best flows I have ever heard (much better than Jay-Z). Jay-Z had better lyrics and had crazy punchlines but he is too mainstream (now a days) plus he is overrated by the media. MTV said he was the G.O.A.T (no offence to Jay but hes not the G.O.A.T).
