LMFAO !..

Vibe: Plies is an interesting name for a rapper, how did you get that nickname?

Plies: “Plies” is a tool. You can use it to put the squeeze on things, like I’m doing to these *****s in the rap game. I got the squeeze on them real tight. They feeling the pressure. Or you can use it to pull things out. I pull out all the ******** and keep the real, you feel me?

It also a word you can use in terms of things goin’ on in yo life, ya dig. You may hear something I say and say that it “plies to me.”

Vibe: I’ve heard of a tool called a “pliers” and the term “applies.”

Plies: You know what I’m trying to say my *****, just buy my album, I’m from the South, my *****. We don’t learn no grammar. My Album out August 7, 2007. Cop three copies each. It’s Christmas in July fo’ real, ya dig?

I read both the XXL & the Vibe article and felt like they were trying to sell me something I never needed and even after I finished reading both of them still felt like I never needed it.
He's untalented and the writers were so confused with what category to put him in, and with the fact that the kept calling himself "the realest" but when it came down to an incident in a club where there was a shooting and he was involved his "realism" changed up. He didn't get any time, told Vibe he realized what being "real" was and that he could spend "60 years in jail and lose millions of dollars" (the monetary case is still pending). He's a bubble gum, caramel-coated R&B, wanna be rapper. He needs to find which genre of music he is going to do. He says he's a GOON, and even though he may look like one, he doesn't live or act like one. He's been to college and is a good father. He wants everyone to thinks he's a street hardcore rapper. Even Rick Ross rolls tougher than Plies. He shouldn't be ashamed to be exactly who he is and roll with that, people would respect him more.
Peace & Love :)
