| You can still listen to him compared to all the other rappers out there. He's one rapper I would recommend along with Common, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, and Lupe Fiasco. Powered by Yahoo Answers |

| He's a freemason. Shun him from your ears, this man is a defiler of all things sound. He is not okay to listen to, even if you aren't christian. Powered by Yahoo Answers |

| christianity is the number one religion in the United States. It is broken down, not into denominations, but into churches with congregation members who are given the GLORIOUS opportunity to spread the message of (not god, but their church) for no pay, then are given the GLORIOUS opportunity to go in and pay them to hear one person give a speech to a crowd. Let me ask you: would you be more inclined to believe a logical statement like when Spock says to Kirk: "The needs of the many outweight the needs of the few, or one." Going in each week as a group of people to listen to one person give a speech based on 2,000-8,000-year-old words? That's the exact opposite of logic. Let me ask you: what's good and what's bad in life? Wouldn't something 'good' to a person of a particular income level be completely different to that of another? What about IQ? What about music preference? That seems to be the case here. Wouldn't someone who doesn't like this style of music pass this question up? Wouldn't someone who is so in 'love' with their 'savior' chime in a word or two since they saw the word christian? Whatever happened to "Hey, Kanye is a human. I am a human. I like music. He likes music. I live in an economic society. He is making music in a economic society. Why not check it out?" No, we have to have a voice in the back of our minds that inhibits us from pouring into our economy (especially now that we need it bad) that says, "You don't truly want that music do you? You might be going to **** if you listen to it. After all, he's a *gasp* freemason!" Here's a 'logical' assumption of christianity: people have to recommit their lives to their 'savior' every time they go to church. SISTER 1: "Now there's sister Shutyermouth again, god bless ya' sister! How's the family on this blessed day that th' lord has made?" SISTER 2: "Couldn't be better! After all, Junior is making some serious improvement in lahf! Whah he went down to th' altar ta get saved three weeks in a row! He's doing the heaven thang!" SISTER 1: "He's a lovely boy. Too bad we caught him staring at Sister HuffandPuff's daughter at the local mart. One word of blessing to th' preacher and he done lay down his hammer of divine justice!" -shoot over to Junior, laying down on the ground by th' preacher- JUNIOR [Shaking, in distress] "thank ya jeezas." [Shaking, uncontrollably] "thank ya for saving me from thinkin' 'bout Sistah Tightpants lahk that. Ah was wrahng. I'll never doo't agin!" Anyone hear about Freedom of Religion? Sounds like we need some freedom FROM a religion in this country. Take it from me, the christians on this planet have lost all ability to make original their statements of 'faith' and must now rely on a 'recording track' to make their money in life. "Apples! Get your fresh apples! Straight from the tree of the knowledge of.. somethin' or other!" Hurry before christianity makes THIS part of life sterile! It's not enough to think they have to go in and declare all culture to be sin! No! They'll get in and scrub anything bone dry! christianity has had a comfortable hold on people here in the United States for too long and it's time for them to relinquish that hold. | You can be entertained by anything you choose - if music is greatly influencing your belief system and morality, then you may want to figure things out a bit more about yourself. Music may inspire, even provoke thought, but is should not sculpt you. Whether he is a Freemason or not, I don't understand how being a Freemason is bad or un-Christian. Powered by Yahoo Answers |
