| Based on those numbers, it will cost $117.84. If you would like to change any aspect of the trip, you can determine the approximate cost of gas using the following equation: Number of miles divided by MPG (this will give you the number of gallons you will use) Then multiply that number by the cost of a gallon of gas to receive your estimated total cost.
