It's got nothing to do with your processor, it all depends on your motherboard. Your motherboard only has 2 memory slots, so it can take up to 4 gb (2 x 2gb sticks) BUT it will most like over heat or fry since it's recommended maximum is 2gb.

The name is LORDTOPCAT...you seem to get it wrong everytime! LOL...Just call me LTC for short.

If you want to blow up your motherboard that's fine because I have warned you...this is what it says on the website where you purchased the motherboard:

Memory
2 x DIMM, max. 2GB, DDR2 533/400 MHz, non-ECC, un-buffered memory
Dual channel memory architecture
* Refer to

or user manual for Memory QVL (Qualify Vendor List)

Your motherboard can not capacitate for 4 gb, not even 3.

Ok, the point is the people who MAKE the motherboard are saying a 2gb max limit. The person who sold it DIDN'T make it. I would trust the person who made it. But, it's your choice. Also if the motherboard blows, it will most likely not be covered under warrenty because they stated the maximum.

"yeah it wont blow up lol but its a dual core it can handle it Lol but i dont know"

It has nothing to do with the processor. It is the MOTHERBOARD. The motherboard physically can't handle 4gb. I've said this in about 3 posts and you're not understanding, so I don't know how else to put it. The last thing I would want is your nice new computer to stop working. Overall your computer can't function without a motherboard. And if it was able to take 4gb... you would need to buy 2 new 2gb memory sticks. These are around $200 each...so that would bring your pc cost up to $1100.
