| The musicians have to practice their piece for a long period of time over and over again. Eventually, the brain wold get use to the information it is receiving and the memory would become a long term memory, thus would be easy to access/recall when needed. Powered by Yahoo Answers |

 | I have been in a couple of bands with friends and I can vouch to say that once you play the same songs over and over again then it starts to stick in your head and memorization comes easy. |

| Actually my friend who has been in a band for about 6 years admits that on the first concert alot of the music is in his earpiece so he can remember the words as he goes. But then after the first time doing it infront of an audience he does it from memory. He says something about doing it in front of a crowd makes him remember it alot better in the long run.

| I'm sure if you've written a song you'll remember the words to it. I tend to pick up words to songs just by listening to them once or twice.. it's amazing how many terrible songs I know the words to!
