I purchased tickets for my boyfriend's brithday to the rock and roll revival tour (5/15/08 Madison Square Garden) because i know he loves Lynard Skynard. I am not too sure if he likes Kid Rock though and Rev Run and Peter Wolf. I have two questions:

1. Is Lynard Skynard going to play as much as Kid Rock even though I am pretty sure Kid Rock is the headliner? Has anyone seen a performance on this tour and do they know if Lynard Skynard played a decent amonut?

2. Also, my boyfriend likes Lynard Skynard, AC/DC. Def Leapard, Iron Maiden, ect.--do you think he likes Kid Rock as well?

4. One more question--how long do you think a show like this will run? It starts at 8pm and we have to catch a train by 11:56pm or 12:34am at the latest...do you think the show will be over by then?

1. they should, lynard skynard are a classic act while kid rock came around maybe like 10 yrs ago.

2. i'm pretty sure if he likes the first 3, he DOESN'T like kid rock.

If he likes Skynyrd, AC/DC, Maiden and Leppard then it's a good chance he probably won't like Kid Rock. I listen to those 3 and almost vomit when I hear Kid Rock. Rev. Run, I can't tell you anything about (I guess that's Run from Run D.M.C.). Peter Wolf was the lead vocalist for the J. Geils Band, so my guess he would be pretty good.

How long the shw will last will depend greatly on how long Kid Rock and Skynyrd each play. If eachare allowed to play full sets (about 2 hours each) I doubt you will be able to make that last train.
