|  I see more black men white women relationships than black men black women? I live in Minneapolis, and everytime I see a black man 70% of them are with a white women. lol I actually don't even remember one with a black women. is minnesota like the interracial capital of the midwest, or is there something else going on here? | I live in the south, and there is a lot of interracial couples here, too. My best friend and my sister are both married to black men (we're white). I think its because interracial dating is finally losing that social stigma, and more people are feeling free to look for relationships with someone outside of their race. Powered by Yahoo Answers |

| Layla, I hear you! I live in Calgary Alberta Canada & that's exactly what it's like here too. My cousin was married to a white man, but I think they're separated now. I don't have a problem with interatial relationships but sometimes they can be really difficult, because you don't know the family until they meet you "the black girlfriend" Lots of my black friends are with white people. You should meet my best friend/little brother, he's white & thinks that black women are beautiful & wants to marry one because of their strength, poise, love for life etc. Seems to be the norm. White guys have told me that Black women have an attitude, what? that's nonsence! I don't have an attitude, be a real man and don't waste my time and I won't have a reason to have an attitude. | Evolutionary psychologists say that in our post modern world many of us are seeking out partners from different races instead of our own... because of the release of social stigmas and our DNA is encoded at this time in history to 'blend' the gene pool. It's happened to me - I never used to notice black men, then when I did, I thought they were 'off-limits' to me, then I realized they weren't, and now I have jungle fever. May I never recover! | Maybe because some of us can't help who we find attractive. I live in California and black male/white female and white male/black female relationships are wven in numbers, as well as other interracial combinations. My oldest sister is married to a white man and has three kids together. And me, I'm black who's finds white women attractive who are attracted to us.
