Staten Island, NY, native N.Y.OIL is known for his racy rhymes, social commentary and forthright observations pertaining to the state of black culture and hip- hop. Best known for his raucous single and the original accompanying video for "Y'all Should Get Lynched," which featured photos of A-list hip-hop luminaries Three 6 Mafia, Jim Jones, The Game and 50 Cent juxtaposed with stark images of slavery and lynchings, the video was banned from YouTube within its first 48 hours of upload and generated an immediate firestorm of controversy.
