What was the name of this old kids tv show where the kids made music and there was a small costumed character?

All I can recall from this show was a section, whether it be during the show or part of the opening, where these kids were in a music studio and a small blue or green or aqua colored costumed figure sat on the edge of a mixing board and then morphed into a bigger form of himself. I'm pretty sure that the show was based around music with kids, so if anyone knows what the title of this show is, it would be much appreciated. Another little hint was that I'm pretty sure the character looked very similar to Stitch from Lilo & Stitch. Thank you!
