I downloaded a set of skins from Modthesims2.com but they don't show up on my game. Can anyone help?

Well, I downloaded a skin for sims from Modthesims2.com but they don't show up on my game. I've unblocked them and they're fully downloaded. I have all the necessary games and I've tried to download them at least three times, but they never show. It's a little frustrating. Can someone please help? :)

Sounds like you're missing the mesh. Go back to the page you downloaded from and see if it says you need a custom mesh.

The mesh is the 3D shape which underlies the texture and some custom clothes are made for custom meshes (i.e. not in game meshes) which you also need for the clothes to show up. The texture is the pictures of the clothes which gets draped over the mesh so you see the clothes in game.
