View Full Version : Why do females wear make up? Doesn't the proof from Oprah, shows that makeup is not good for the skin?

You have to admit, makeup has ruined a lot of pretty women looks. Have you ever seen the younger pictures of Oprah. A hotty. Now look at her after wearing all that makeup.
Since I don't wear shorts and pay attention to what other men wear, I can't answer this question for you. But obviously you must like looking because you are the one who is noticing it. Keep your head straight instead of looking down.

ever heard of mineral make-up?? it isn't absorbed into the skin but looks like normal make-up and doesn't clog pores ¬_¬

and make-up didn't do that, age did. People's looks do change as they get older, you know. >_<

ANd if you ask me she hasn't changed that much, she still looks good for her age

Yeah I agree. Her looks got worse because of make-up and not because she got old and wrinkles started to form, skin lost it's firmness, etc...

what the problem is is that they didn't wipe the makeup off sometimes and fell asleep with it on it's not only bad for the skin but make wrinkles appear early!

Mineral and natural makeup are the best! they don't test on animals and they use all natural products but because of this its very expensive!

Oprah wears all that makeup now because she's getting older. Mineral powder is better for the skin.

Plus, MOST guys won't look, let alone talk to a girl unless they're wearing makeup.

no it does not and i think oprah looks great , and since you think we women shouldnt wear makeup , heres a question for guys . why do some of you think wearing your shorts showing your underwear and having to walk around holding them up in the crotch is a good look to wear???

Have you seen Oprah before she is made up...I think they spray paint her.......Ian Fleming the author of all the James Bond books always described the beautiful women in his books as wearing scant makeup and no nail polish...thot it made them look like tramps

Well some people wear it because it makes them feel good about them selves. others were it because they think it makes them look pretty because sometimes it does! it can sometimes ruin your face because your allergic 2 a certain product. it depends on the person really!

Yes, when handled improperly makeup is bad for you, and now that people are aware of the risks more women wear mineral makeup, and make sure to completely wash all of their makeup off at night. Why discriminate against women wearing makeup? Did you ever consider the fact that for some women, this is the only way to make them feel beautiful? Makeup doesn't hurt peoples skin, people hurt their skin.
