So what does oprah do with her money?

She's a billionaire right? So how come she's not in the gunisses book of world records, i thought she donated a lot too.

i need numbers guys.
lean wit it:im not talking about income...im talking about how much they donated.

Mo:the point im trying to make is, is that for the money mj had, he donated at least a 1/3 of it, if not 1/2 to charity. most people don't do that.
And im sure alot that he has done for people hasn't even been recorded in books.

I actually read a article which listed MJ as being second to Oprah. But why just Oprah ? What about Bill Gates, Warren Buffet ?

But those numbers are based on Networth. Meaning the value of all her assets. It doesnt mean she has a billion dollars in the bank. But all things combined, or if she were to sell all her possessions that what she would be worth.

But then again who are we to tell people what to do with their money. There are millionaires who dont give away anything. If you're concerned about charities then become a billionaire and give it all away.

You do know that Oprah is the one of the most charitable celebrities ever right ? Even if MJ has given away more then Oprah is the second most charitable. She's always giving away. One of the things that Oprah is known for is her charitbale contributions. SHe's just smart enough to know how to give wisely. But the article I saw had MJ at an estimated 400 million and Oprah was over 400 million perhaps even 500 million. I dont remember Oprah's exact number but I do remember that Mj was 400 million and Oprah was higher than that.

I agree with you Michael did so much more he donated to over 300 charities and didn't even get acknowledge for it until after his passing. And I will admitt Oprah did a generous thing by building a school in Africa for those kids but Michael did so Much more and needs to get his credit. It is just not fare and Michael should have been recognized for all the good he has done instead of being put down all the time. It just not right.

MJ was definitely the one who gave more and Although,Oprah gives alot too and she's more known for it is only because people give her more credit for her charities then they give MJ. Michael just gave and didn't care to do it to show off -- he just did. Poor MJ was put down and called all kinds of things but not recognized for his giving and all the good he did.It's good thought that he was regonized in the guinesses world record for the celebrity who gave the most,but I think the media,the tabloids and all the people who put him down and trashed him owes him and his loved ones a public apology.It's just not far and very wrong because he may not been perfect but he strived to be and not because he did it to be recognized but he just did.He would always say he tries to be like Jesus-- that is especial because really who says that now a days? MJ was not only a Guinness and soo talented but he had the biggest heart.His message was love and that's all he did. I will truly miss his presence in this world. We need more MJs because if we did this world would be a better place. It's sad that all he wanted to do is make our world a better place. He tried to save the world even when he know he couldn't but he still sure tried. We need to do the same and be more like him.We need to carry his work and not just for him, but for our world.He'd be proud!!! Love you more,MJ and I'll see you in heaven one day,my sweet!!
