I dont live in the US so i don't see much of oprah

people really dislike her, i'm not sure why

yeah she does a lot of charity, the only time i've seen her is her interview with michael jackson, she seemed alright on that :/

No i can't stand her. She totally forgot where she came from. and now thinks she's all powerful and better then everyone. yeah she does charity work but i think she does it for media and what not.

i also can't stand that when her show was bigger she would bring all these famous people on her show and give them thousands of dollars in gifts if they were pregnant. i say...ummm...hello why not donate it to a shelter/home for battered women and children.

I just can't stand her never have and never will

I love Oprah! She has interesting shows, and does great things for ppl.. I get aggravated when ppl say that she does things only to further her own career. Well who cares? Even if that is her only motivation she is still helping ppl like all the money she gives with the Angel Network or the houses she has rebuilt for Katrina survivors or all her huge giveaway shows or the money she gives to ppl who have a hand in catching child molesters?? Those are just to name a few. There are tons and tons of tv/movie and sports personality that make huge amounts of money as well and give nothing back..
