Is this true? What does it mean, that she is a spiritualist? I think someone just wrote that cause they didn't know how to describe her but I think she is still a Baptist but has gone beyond the confines of the church. What do you say?
MARY!!!!!! that is an absolutely lie about President Obama. Listen to him not the greedy people who want to keep stealing from us. He is not at all for full term abortion. This is the one lie that actually made him come & speak. He lets the silly things go but he came out & spoke about this....I got the info about Oprah from a site someone gave me when I asked a question earlier today about Bill Moyers. You can easily find it under my questions & see the site someone gave me it is the secound of the 2 he gave me....that really is a terrible lie to say about a good man so please pray about these kinds of things before you repeat them.

I hope it is not true because she has left her true belief for lies and deception.

Were did you get this information?

There IS a noticiable difference in her attitude. She backed Obama who believes in abortion up to full term. That is strictly against the Baptist beliefs.

She has sold her soul if she has done this and someone should write to her and tell her so. Warning those that are going down the wrong path is required in the scriptures..you might keep them from eternal damnation if they will listen.

She is a spiritualist.

A spiritualist, if I remember right, is someone who believes not in God or a deity, but in inner strength coming from the soul, that we can control our own destinies rather than having our destinies planned out by a higher power. They emphasize chariy, which is good, but also the idea of survival of the fittest spirit(so Oprah's rich only because she has found her "inner power", in spiritualist belief).

It's a shame that she has sold herself out for the ways of the world and for money.

I agree. She has taken many steps to rise above the dogma and doctrines of man/the church. She is one of the most spiritual beings on Earth. I have believed this way for 40+ years and have happily watched this wonderful, faith filled, human's progression. I am happy for all of that reach out to God beyond the teachings of the material world.

I agree she says she is a Christian yet she has opened up to go outside of what people in maybe one church are telling her. I heard her once say there are many paths to God yet some people didn't like that.

I believe that it is. That doesn't surprise me that she was raised baptist when she's from Mississippi originally. I think she's probably gotten more skeptical and began questioning things more. I know I've grown more fond of Eastern medicine and philosophies as I've become more educated.
