View Full Version : Are the houses built by Extreme Makeover and Nate Berkus (Oprah's Big Give) Earthquake-proof?

I was watching oprah show the other day and this question came into my mind. Just wanted to know since the houses are built within 20 days, are they safe against earthquakes and stuff like that?

They never mention it. So, my guess would be the houses are NOT earthquake-proof or hurricane-proof. That's where insurance comes in big time. I'm sure they would stress it if they were protected from national disasters.
