the game is great... but it gets stuck on loading screens
im not sure but i think ive scratched the disk
is there anything i can do, because the cd works but doesnt load anything

Some game dealing stores repair your scratched disk. Try to stop the game and it will reload to where playing and run. It happened to my kids on GTA San Andreas and there was no scratch in the disk.
