Weird look while watching transformers 1...?

My family was watching Transformers One and my girlfriend and I couldn't help but notice that the filming was just odd. The color looked great and the movie itself was phenomenal but something was odd. It wasn't the CGI, that was fine. Most of the odd sequences involved the human actors, they acted fine, but the filming that surrounded them almost looked a bit cheap and poorly done, but I have a feeling that wasn't the case, but anyways...we couldn't help but notice it throughout the movie in many of the human scenes...is there anyone who has a clue has to what might be the root of this abnormality? By the way my dad has like the number one rated tv by consumer reports so it wasn't the tv, and the dvd is brand new...so yea... :)

Sometimes the dvd burner that comapnies uses overheats and works bad is very rare and it makes the movie look bad, the otehr optio is that the optical lens are dirty, try using other DVD and if it looks good then is the Transformer´s DVD.
