Which winners were the ones to start the recreating of the "best kiss" on the MTV movie awards?

where does the "tradition" of sorts come from? whenever the actors accept the award for best kiss, its....dare I say it, customary to kiss the co-star.

the most memorable for me was when Rachel McAdams won with Ryan Gosling for the Notebook. And with the awards just this past weekend, with Kirsten Stewart and Rob Pattinson winning (not kissing because of rumors of an off-screen romance)....I was just wondering where that tradition started? was it at the first MTV Movie awards in 92?

I'm not sure... the only one I remember vividly is McAdam's and Goslings, which was absolutely spot on and perfect.

Kristen and Rob's this weekend was beyond dumb.
