A childhood movie un-named :(?

it was like a film with a dragon in and its in a country side by a castle and a girl and boy rides it

sorry theres not much infomation but is is quit old because i was like 5 years old and it was in a video shop in a video case, i rember the case had the dragon and a set off teenage girl and boy riding it

please could you give suggestions what the film could be

its like a 90's film in colour!

it was animated it was real life actors and a dragon that looked really real and it moved and everyrhing ,, i think the dragon was a special effect or sommething or a model ??
