I recently saw the preview for it, and I think thats its gonna be a box office hit. I read the book about 5 months ago, and I loved it!! the ending was REALLY sad though.
what did you think of it?

I loved the book..I read it shortly after my own battle with leukemia was won, so it had a special meaning for me. The movie also looks good, but I wouldn't have put Cameron Diaz in the role of the mother. Maybe it's just me, but I thought the mom should be a bit more mean or pushy...and Cameron Diaz just doesn't strike me as that type of person. I'm excited to see how wrong I am.

I didn't personally read the book but i know the ending... and i am really exited to see the movie also. But i keep hearing that in the end of the movie, the character "Anna" doesn't die, like she does in the book... that kind of makes me mad because i think the book is really powerful and changing it would make it less appealing... but i still am exited to see how it turns out.
