View Full Version : 1980's or 1990's family movie, need help .....?

A father of 2-3 kids goes on a boat jurney. One other kid hides on the boat because he was not allowed to go,they will find him eventually. After a wile they end up ship wrecked, and strended on a island.They will be attacked by a bear and other animals, trying to survive on this island. One of the kids name was SAM.
I can not remember much about it , but I hope whit this very short detail someone could help me out.

It sounds like the movie Shipwrecked. but in it the boy was a stowaway I think. Anyway I love that movie.

I think it might be the movie "Shipwreck" starring Robert Logan. (Whatever happened to him, anyway?) He played a man who sets sail for Alaska with his two daughters, his girlfriend, and along the way they discover a young friend of the girls has stowed away on their sailboat. I believe the youngest daughter is named Sam.
