Does anyone know what is happening with the Halo movie?

does anyone know if any progress is being made on the halo movie, i heard that the whole thing had been abandoned, i would really like to see it, any information would help, thanks.

Status hasn't changed. Both of the production studios who were funding it backed out when the costs began to soar. It is still in "who knows" mode. I imagine it will get made someday, but it doesn't look like it will happen in the next few years.

Its been canceled. Read an article a few months ago. Microsoft and someone couldnt agree on a script plus money issues, so its been canceled for now. May get picked up later.
