What is your favorite series (or theme) of television commercials?

I am not looking for one single commercial, but like a series of them, for example, the e-trade baby facing the computer monitor, or from way back in the 1980s, the "Where's the Beef?" series for Wendy's.

Tell us why.
turner- Yeah, I like those as well. "He lives vicariously............through himself." LOL
Arkie Mom, I like those also. The one where he ends up on the bigscreen at a basketball game and is completely unaware he is on is funny.

I absolutely love the Sonic commercials!! The whole series with the husband & wife, the two girls' "late night snackin'" and of course the dude with all his "haybro'n" These commercials deserve an award.

Further back, Lite Beer from Miller commercials of the late 70's. Many great guest sports stars and appearances from the great Rodney Dangerfield.

I also remember Robert Conrad daring you to knock an Eveready D-Cell battery off of his shoulder.

The anti-pollution ads with the crying native american was ahead of it's time.

Back in the late 1950s and early 1960s, there was a series of cartoon style commercials, voiced by Mike Nickels and Elaine May, that advertised Jax Beer. They were funny, original and entertaining.
