It's different depending on where you live. You could search for it on the TV Guide or try channel surfing.

mtv IS a Cable/satelite channel ONLY- it is not on 'normal' tv-sorry

I'm in Texas also, but my cable has it on ch. 30, but since you have no cable, I guess you are out of luck,,,,,,,,,,SO, go on youtube and myspace, and play around with entering singers names and see what you can find,,,,,,,
