Opinions on Sex and the City: The Movie please?

Hello everybody. How are you today? I am a huge SATC fan. Watched the TV show religiously and own them all on boxset which i watch occasionally. Have been excited for the movie ever since it was greenlight but i just never get the time these days to have a good night's sleep never mind watch a movie. However for once i am having a day off and planning of just relaxing on the sofa with SATC: The Movie. But i have been hearing kind of mixed reviews on it from friends. Some loved it whilst others said it didn't have the spark and wit of the tv show and that it was overlong.

I'd like to know your opinions please. Is it just like a extended episode of the show? And is it a good laugh because the show certainly was? Anyway thanks and i would be grateful for feedback.

well the movie didn't do anything for me the ending of the show was so predictable we all knew she would end up back with Mr Big. it's just most of the writer's of these Tv shows don't care any more of what the people think. don't get me wrong i sympathizes with them that they will be out of a job when these shows in but still where is the passion
