Lovesick with Dudley Moore from 1983. Cute movie where he plays a pychiatrist that falls for one of his patients. There is of course "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest", but thats more of a patient theme. "High Anxiety" with Mel Brooks, but that is more slapstick.
"The End" with Burt Reynolds, but this is more patient themed too. I know I didnt do too good for ya but I think you'd like "Lovesick", that fits your question quite well I beleive.
