its not really about how kobe performs. its about bynum and gasol steppin up big time, and being a lot more consistent. they werent doing anything, especially in game 6.

No kobe knows what he has to do in order for him to help his team close out the Rockets and all of all laker fans are right behind them to get them self confidence and belief.but if the lakers do not get to the finals or lose the finals i think Kobe will consider opting out of his Contract.

No Kobe's not going to lose this Sunday's game especially @ home court. He's not going to let rockets take it.

And plus, Lakers are notorious for playing better under pressure. They were a lil overconfident these past two games, w/ Ming out n all.... They're ganna close it out this Sunday for sure.

no way kobe hasn't been playing his best during the playoffs but he's way too clutch to mess up in game 7. he's always so confident and i don't think this game will be any different.

I'm a Rocket fan

but doubt it

Battier has defended him, the best thing is that he doesn't foul

I think Kobe will come out scoring and try to put the game away in the 3rd if he can

The Lakers being at home and having better players should win this series but never in my wildest dreams that I would think it would go seven games especially if Yao Ming and their back up center Mutumbo was not playing and also Tracy McGrady not playing.

But you have to give the Rockets credit, They are not suppose to win but someone did not tell them that, They create match up problems and they have nothing to lose like I said they are not supposed to win.

Back to Kobe choking, the last 3 must win games in the post season going back to last year , he did not play well but it was not a game 7 but a must win game at Boston at game 6, the year before that they lost to Phoenix in game 5 and Kobe did not play exceptionally well, and the year before that they lost game 7 in Phoenix and that was the second half no show or no shots in the second half as they got blown out,

So he has not fair well in must win games but these games were on the road and so since this game is at the Lakers home I expect for him to play well.

i hope not :(
being the great player he is, i hope he steps it up a level and shows everyone why hes been one of the most dominant players this decade. As they have the home court advantage ;) i beleive the crowd will give them an added momentum boost and theyll easily finsih off the rockets ;) ! Bynum and Gasol will also step up! theyll be more consistent and make more opportunities for other players :)

although, the rockets did put up a good fight! i dont see them advancing to the finals between the nuggets ;) !!
bestof luck to lakers !<3

He's averaging over 30 in games after a loss (all wins) and he's at home too. But, if the front line ( Gasol and Bynum especially) doesn't come to play it's going to be tougher on him.

Kobe has played well in every game of the playoffs this year.

The big men have been the inconsistent ones for the Lakers.

If he does, he should pass up the ball to Odom or Gasol
