View Full Version : Is it clear now that Kobe can lead his team to a victory when needed? Has he proved he is better than MJ now?

Uh huh! I mean happy that the rockets are winning but to tell you the truth I didn't think Rockets would make it this far. Lakers is actually embrassing themselves. I mean WTF is this? The way they're playing I feel that even if they win, they won't be going so far. Either the nuggets are going to beat em or someone from the eastern conference but Laker's AINT WINNING THIS YEAR! NO!
KOBE aint even close to michal jordan!

He will never be even close to MJ.Look he can't even clean up a team with out there 2 best players and people think he is great?

No because they haven't won this series....say that when it is applicable. At this time, your question is irrelevant. LOL

Thats a pretty different comparison. You have Kobe with a very weak supporting cast when Michael had a very good supporting cast. One thing in common is the coach getting them to the same point. Now when Kobe had Shaq that would have been similar as they were a two man team.

MJ did come up short sometimes. He did miss game-winning shots sometimes. Yes, he did come up big many times but you have to remember that he did fail to come up big sometimes. Kobe is no different.

I was impressed by the way he put his team on his back and carried them to the win in game 6. He really stepped up and answered his critics!
That said, I won't be a bit surprised if he goes off for 50 in game 7.

Lead his team to a victory? Or follow his teammates to a victory?
Okay, Kobe is a very talented player, but he does not have the art of Michael Jordan. Maybe their basic skills are about the same (and maybe not), but in leadership and inspiration MJ---with those mystical qualities that bring out the best in others--is possibly the best the NBA has ever had.
